General Terms and Conditions for the Provision of Services (GTC)

Thank you for your interest in staying at our campsite. The campsite offers stays intended for traditional family use. The campsite reserves the right to refuse any booking that goes against or attempts to circumvent this principle.

1. Booking

Online booking system

A reservation made through our online system becomes final only after availability is confirmed and a deposit of 50% (excluding tourist taxes) is paid. For one-night stays, full payment is required at the time of booking. Your reservation will be confirmed once the payment has been received in our bank account. If you are due to arrive within three days of your booking, no deposit is required and payment can be made on arrival.

Booking by phone or email

Your request will be processed as quickly as possible. Once availability is confirmed, you agree to pay a 50% deposit of the total amount of the stay (excluding tourist taxes). For one-night stays, full payment is required at the time of booking. Your reservation will be confirmed once the payment has been received in our bank account. If you are due to arrive within three days of your booking, no deposit is required and payment can be made on arrival.

Payment of the Balance

• Pitches: The final invoice must be paid no later than the day of departure.
• Rentals: The balance of the rental must be paid via bank transfer no later than 21 days before the start of the stay.

2. Pitch / Mobile Home Requests

Customer preferences regarding pitch location or mobilehome choice will be considered wherever possible, but the direction reserves the right to change the pitch or mobile home number at any time, to another of equal or greater capacity. The stay can only be extended depending on availability.

3. Arrival / Departure

• Pitches: Arrival from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On the day of departure, the pitch must be vacated before 11:00 a.m. For late departures, a late check-out fee will be charged (CHF 15).

• Accomodations: Arrival from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. – the accommodation must be vacated before 10:00 a.m. For late departures, a late check-out fee will be charged (CHF 30).

4. Late Arrival / Early Departure

Without written notice of a late arrival, the pitch/mobile home will be released 12 hours after the scheduled arrival date, and the full payment remains due. If the stay is shortened, the full amount of the stay remains due.

5. Condition of Facilities and Damage Reporting

• Pitches: Pitches are provided in good condition. Guests must report any damage or malfunction immediately upon arrival. During the stay, any damage caused by the vehicle, equipment, or guest behavior must be reported immediately to reception. Any damage found will be charged to the guest.

• Accommodations: Mobile homes are handed over to guests in a clean and fully functional condition upon arrival. Guests must inspect the condition of the mobile home upon arrival and report any defects or malfunctions immediately to reception. During the stay, guests must promptly report any damage they may cause. A check-out inspection will be carried out upon departure. Any damage found will be charged to the guest.

6. Cancellation

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the campsite.

• Pitches Cancellation after the 8th day before arrival: 100% of the deposit will be retained.
• Accomodations: Cancellations up to the 21st day before arrival: 30% of the total rental amount will be retained. Cancellations after the 8th day before arrival: 100% of the total rental amount will be retained.We strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.

7. Pets

• Pitches: Pets are generally allowed, kept on a leash within the campsite. A maximum of two pets per pitch is allowed.

• Rentals: Pets are not allowed (exept in Glamping Tent)

8. Campsite Rules

Please refer to the campsite regulations, which include the most important rules to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible.

8. Legal Jurisdiction and Validity

• Juridiction: Murten (Morat)
• The original version of the general terms and conditions is written in French. In the event of any discrepancy with a translation, the French version prevails.
• Valid from January 1, 2026. The campsite management reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions at any time.

Data Protection

In the context of providing services [and/or selling products] to the customer, Camping Les 3 Lacs SA may, in full compliance with applicable data protection regulations, collect personal data itself, collect it from third parties, store, process, and transmit it to third parties.

If permitted by law, or if there is an overriding interest on the part of Camping Les 3 Lacs SA, or if the customer has given their consent, Camping Les 3 Lacs SA may process the collected personal data for the following purposes:

a) to verify the prerequisites for concluding a contract;
b) to fulfill contractual obligations towards the customer;
c) to maintain, develop, and preserve the customer relationship;
d) to customize services or provide personalized content, for example by analyzing user demographics, usage behavior, and interests;
e) to validate addresses;
f) to prevent illegal use of services (particularly to prevent fraud at the time of contract conclusion and during its execution);
g) for billing, collection, creditworthiness, and solvency checks;
h) to promote, design, and develop the products of Camping Les 3 Lacs SA;
j) to comply with legal obligations to various official bodies.

Camping Les 3 Lacs SA may engage third parties in Switzerland and abroad for data processing purposes.
If the customer purchases services from third parties via Camping Les 3 Lacs SA, the campsite may share with the third party the customer data necessary to fulfill their contractual obligations.

If Camping Les 3 Lacs SA engages third parties in Switzerland or abroad, those parties are contractually bound to comply with the necessary measures according to applicable data protection laws.
